Encounter Church of Atlanta Expansion | Multipurpose Center

Overview

Encounter Church of Atlanta embarked on an expansion project to create a dynamic multipurpose center that would serve as the new home for their legacy department, youth ministry, administrative functions, and pastoral offices. Additionally, the center would feature amenities such as a small cafe, innovation space, and classrooms. Our schematic design proposal aimed to harmonize functional requirements with architectural aesthetics to create a versatile and welcoming space for congregation members and staff alike.

Key Features

Legacy Department and Youth Ministry Spaces: The design incorporated dedicated areas for the legacy department and youth ministry, providing flexible and inviting spaces for worship, fellowship, and educational activities tailored to the needs of each demographic.

Cafe and Innovation Space: A small cafe and innovation space were integrated into the design to promote social interaction, creativity, and collaboration. These areas serve as hubs for congregation members to gather, connect, and engage in meaningful conversations.

Classrooms and Administration Suites: The multipurpose center includes classrooms for educational programs and administrative suites to facilitate the efficient operation of Encounter Church's day-to-day activities.
