Overview
New Birth Church's Youth and Teens Ministry in Stonecrest, Georgia, embarked on a renovation project to revitalize their facilities and create dynamic spaces tailored to the needs of their youth community. Our schematic design proposal aimed to transform the existing space to include a new small worship area for the youth ministry, a game room, innovation space, classrooms, conference rooms, renovation for the teen's chapel, and a new check-in area.
Key Features
Small Worship Space: A dedicated small worship area was introduced to provide a more intimate and engaging environment for youth ministry activities. This space allows for meaningful worship experiences, prayer sessions, and interactive discussions tailored to the needs of young attendees.
Game Room: The inclusion of a game room provides a recreational space for teenagers to unwind, socialize, and foster friendships within a safe and supervised environment. Interactive games and activities promote teamwork, creativity, and positive social interaction among peers.
Innovation Space: An innovation space was integrated to encourage creativity, exploration, and learning among youth participants. Equipped with modern technology and resources, this area facilitates hands-on experiences, workshops, and projects that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Classrooms and Conference Rooms: Renovated classrooms and conference rooms provide functional spaces for educational programs, workshops, and group meetings tailored to the needs of youth ministry. Versatile layouts and modern amenities support various learning styles and collaborative activities.
Teen's Chapel Renovation: The renovation of the teen's chapel enhances the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the space, creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere for worship services, bible studies, and special events tailored to teenage attendees.
New Check-in Area: A new check-in area was designed to streamline the registration process for youth ministry activities, ensuring efficient and secure access for participants and guardians. This area enhances safety protocols and facilitates smooth transitions between activities.
